What you need to know about Agreements with Digital Creators

No. We are a Merchant of Record. Unlike traditional tools like PSPs or Accounts Payable Automation (APs), we become the formal counterparty in the transaction, assuming the administrative and legal responsibility for the payout.

The model is built on a "Concurrent Transaction" structure, where we buy the service from the creator and concurrently resell it to you, making us the legal counterparty on both sides. This mirrors how distributors and resellers operate in complex global supply chains, and is recognized by tax authorities in the markets where we operate.

Because we act as the MoR, you only onboard one vendor (Gigapay) in your ERP. We handle the thousands of relationships and tax IDs behind that single entry.

We handle the filings required of us as an MoR, such as DAC7 in the EU and KU14 globally. If a tax authority has questions regarding these payouts, Gigapay is the first point of contact.

We perform withholding and social fee reporting specifically for Swedish creators. For all other markets, we currently operate where compliant payouts can be made without creating a withholding obligation for you.
